The Struggle for Rattlesnake Island. Reporter George Lavender takes us to the site of an ongoing controversy over the use of Rattlesnake Island, a modern-day land dispute with a legacy which traces back to the colonization of the American West. The Struggle for Rattlesnake Island was produced by George Lavender and edited by Shannon Young. Our technical production team at KPFA in Berkeley includes Rose Ketabchi, Shaunnah Ray and Zane Qarissli.
