But wait… We’re talking, of course, about the 1970s to mid-’80s – when the musical melting pot boiled over and disco took over dance clubs around the world – offering a sense of freedom and escape through fantasy, fashion, sex, drugs and other excess. Today we journey to the African continent to imagine ourselves on the dance floors of Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, and Togo, mostly between the years of 1975-1986. Formerly the producer of "Continental Drift" on WBAI-FM and New York International on Haitian community station Radio Soleil in NYC. The show is broadcast live from Catskill, NY.
