Douglas Lucas is an artist and curator in Brooklyn, NY. His work involves a variety of mediums in the fields of recording, performance, film, and installation. He has frequently curated experimental art, music, and film events and exhibitions since 2011. He also runs Arcana Machine - a record label exploring esoteric influences and practices.

The Saturday Afternoon show is similar to the weekday "WGXC Afternoon Show," but focused on transmission art. Saturday afternoons on WGXC feature Wave Farm Artists-in-Residence, and special guests, who are interviewed on-air, present past and future projects, as well as perform live.
