Caroline Davis is a Brooklyn-based saxophonist, composer, and activist, heard here in a solo concert recorded at the Roulette Concert hall in Brooklyn in 2026, working the nexus between saxophone and electronics.The interactive technology used in this performance includes patches developed for the Organelle synth by Caroline and others, field recordings, and voice samples (Connie Crothers, Thích Nhất Hạnh). In addition to her musical career, Davis is a dedicated educator, teaching courses on gender in jazz at The New School, and other work for gender equity.
