"Democracy Now!" interrupts the proceedings live at 8 a.m., with international news from Manhattan and Amy Goodman. At 9 a.m., host Tom Roe is joined by Mark Grupe of Gemini Construction (Cairo, NY). Mark Grupe (together with his brother Richard) has been active in Greene County for 36 years. Mark, and his son Trevor, will answer caller's questions regarding winter preparedness, as well as general plumbing, electrical, and construction concerns. At 9:30 a.m. John Sowle and Steven Patterson of the Bridge Street Theatre in Catskill are in the studio to preview "Nightmare on Bridge Street" an immersive theatrical haunted house experience produced in collaboration with students from Catskill High School on Sat., Oct. 25, 2014. In the 7 a.m. hour the show will tune in excerpts from the debate among four candidates running for governor from Wed., Oct. 22. And also an excerpt of an interview with Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Michael McDermott, who stopped by the WGXC Hudson studio Wed., Oct. 22 on his way to that debate.
