Today we are presenting two of the kind songs in a counterpart style. The same song played twice but with so many different points of view, from the music to the lyrics, to the style. Neither song is better than the other, but rather different, and thats the fun of it.

We will present Tangos that become Flamencos, and Songs of love that become songs of social justice. Hopefully this experience will enrich the listener with nuances in tone and dynamics.

“Nuestra Música,” “Our Music,” presents the rhythms and folklore of Latin America, Spain, Portugal, and Cape Verde. From Tango to Flamenco and all Latinx music in between. The show explores the native instruments, languages, and traditions played in 22 countries and one territory. Other than Spanish and Portuguese, "Nuestra Música" presents songs in Quechua, Mapuche, Guaraní, Nahuatl, Gallego, Spanish Basque, and Catalán.
