This week we are presenting music from movies by Spaniard auteurs Carlos Saura and Pedro Almodovar

Saura, arguably the most important Spanish filmmaker to emerge between Luis Buñuel and Pedro Almodóvar, gained international fame during the repressive years of Francisco Franco government, and Pedro Almodovar, a post Franco director, explored complex narratives involving issues like LGBTQ , passion, family, and motherhood.

We are presenting the music from the films Kika, The Flower of my Secret, The Law of Desire, Women on the verge of a nervous breakdown, High Heels and Tie me up Tie me down from Almodovar, and Cria Cuervos, Tango, Goya, and Carmen from Saura.
