Host John Kane's special Thanksgiving Day edition of "First Voices Indigenous Radio" features three prominent Native voices in politics, art and music: Ross John (Seneca); Gregg Deal (Pyramid Lake Paiute), artist; and Dawn Avery (Mohawk), musician. The second hour opens with musician John McLeod's (Ojibwa) "The Breed," which is from his latest CD, "3 of a kind." Host John Kane (Mohawk) talks with McLeod, Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz (author of "An Indigenous People's History of the United States") and Tiokasin Ghosthorse (Cheyenne River Lakota). Produced by Tiokasin Ghosthorse.
