The work of Wave Farm Artist-in-residence Elia Vargas is the focus of this special broadcast. Vargas is an Oakland-based artist and curator. He works in video, sound, projection, and situational experiences that explore mediated information embodiment. On September 3, Saturday Afternoon Show host Tom Roe will be joined in the WGXC Acra studio by Kevin Factor (Foraging Ahead); the two will engage Vargas in a discussion about his work at-large, as well as his residency project Crude Illumination.
