We present music from Somalia drawing on two vast archives of tapes stored in both Mogadishu, Somalia and Hargeisa, Republic of Somaliland. The recordings document a period before Somalia fell into 20 years of conflict and tragedy, a time from which it will hopefully re-emerge as rich and vibrant as the music itself.(Note: This show first aired October 09, 2022).
