Tune in to hear Rep. Antonio Delgado's speech Women's March On! Hudson Jan. 19, recorded and uploaded on YouTube by Dan Udell. And hear Louis Copeland from our partner station WOOC-LP in Troy interview Hudson Valley Community College Professor Tamu Chambers about the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and the origins of the holiday in his name. And the annual Northeast Organic Farming Association took over the Saratoga Civic Center last weekend, attracting food activists from around the region. WOOC-LP correspondent Steve Pierce sat down with a pioneer of the community gardens and urban agriculture movement for a quick history lesson. John Ameroso worked as Cornell University Cooperative Extension Urban Agricultural Extension agent from 1976-2010, working on community gardens programs and then later urban agriculture. The WGXC Morning Show is a radio magazine show featuring local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of public meetings, local and regional events, with weather updates, and more about and for the community.
