A three-hour acid trip, includes stories about the drug, warnings about its use, its dramatic use in radio and television, and in songs. The show includes a speech made at Lake Forest College in Illinois, on February 22, 1967 by Dr. Adrian Ostfeld, then the head of preventive medicine at the Univeristy of Illinois College of Medicine. He spoke about his findings as an early researcher (at the beginning of the 1960's) into the effects of LSD. Also, from the Pacifica Radio Archives, "One Billion Seconds Later : The Social History Of Lsd-25." This is a documentary of the hallucinogenic drug LSD, from its discovery at Sandoz Laboratories by Chemist Albert Hoffman in 1943, through the halls of Academe, to Golden Gate Park and beyond.
