Bill Deane from the Windham Arts Alliance will talk about Arts Fest 2017, to be held at Christman's Windham House, on July 1. Arts Fest is family art show with more than 25 artists exhibiting, a participatory mural project for children, live music, auction, and lunch served at the 1805 tavern. Then, Cairo Public Library Executive Director Debra Kamecke, with writers Tony Fallon, Esther Cohen, and Dean Lavin, President of the Cairo Library Board of Trustees, will discuss the library writers group and the awards reception held Thu., Jun. 29. The WGXC Morning Show is a radio magazine show featuring local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of public meetings, local and regional events, with weather updates, and more about and for the community.
