In addition to his voluminous writings, including Disorders of the Real (Station Hill, 1988), Alan Sondheim is a musician who plays numerous instruments. Beyond releasing LPs on ESP-Disk nearly half a century ago, he has held residencies in the virtual world Second Life. His recent CDs feature vocals by Azure Carter, who joins him on the program.
