In honor of Black History Month, we will hear from Pam Africa, a public speaker and activist involved with the organization MOVE. Founded in 1972 by John Africa, MOVE is Philadelphia-based black liberation group that participates in public demonstrations against racism, police brutality, and government corruption, among many other issues. Pam Africa, joined by her brother Mike Africa, appeared on Pacifica affiliate WIOF-LP Woodstock 104, in Woodstock, New York on January 16, 2016, and they used the platform to voice their standpoints on many of these issues.
