Dolores Huerta became a public figure in the mid-1960s when she co-founded, with Cesar Chávez, the United Farm Workers Union. Today she heads the Dolores Huerta Foundation, where she continues to fight for equality and justice for underrepresented communities. On April 10, 2018, Dolores celebrated her 88th birthday.
