WGXC presents a live broadcast of a reading by poets John Ashbery and Paul Muldoon, offered as a part of the Ashbery Home School of Hudson, a one-week writing conference, which welcomes poets seeking to redefine their practice through a radical consideration of the arts. Ashbery has published more than 20 volumes of poetry and has won nearly every major American award for poetry, including a Pulitzer Prize in 1976 for his collection "Self-Portrait in a Convex Mirror." A native of Rochester, Ashbery now lives in Hudson and New York City. Muldoon has published more than 30 collections and is the winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the T. S. Eliot Prize. He is a professor of the humanities at Princeton University, chair of the Lewis Center for the Arts, and the Poetry Editor at The New Yorker. Born in Ireland, Muldoon now resides in New York City.
