Franklin Delano Roosevelt was born on January 30, 1882, in Hyde Park, New York. He was tutored at home until he attended the Groton School (1896-1900), then went on to attend Harvard University, and Columbia Law School. He married Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, his fifth cousin once removed, on March 17, 1905, in New York City. They had five children together. In 1927, Roosevelt co-founded the Warm Springs Georgia Foundation for the treatment of polio victims. He served as a New York state Senator, as a two-term governor of New York, the Assistant Secretary of the Navy, and as a four-term President of the United States, guiding the nation through the Great Depression and World War II. Roosevelt died on April 12, 1945.

On each show, invited guests are asked to discuss a number of items that they would take with them to their Catskill Cabin get-away. As Mike and Andy discuss their chosen items, it is intended that you, the listener, will enjoy getting to know each guest that little bit better. This WGXC podcast is subscribable. An excerpt of this show airs later in the day at 6 p.m. on "All Together Now!," then later in the week on the "WGXC Morning Show" and the "WGXC Early Morning Show."
