State Assembly member Pete Lopez is the guest for the hour. Lopez was first elected to the Assembly in 2006. Born in Florida, his family moved to New York when he was an infant. Lopez graduated with honors from Schoharie Central School District, SUNY Cobleskill, and SUNY Albany. He holds an undergraduate degree in public affairs, with a minor in environmental studies, and a masters in public administration. During his lifetime of public service, Lopez has become known for his unique leadership style that enabled him to connect with his community and serve as a member of the Assembly for the past eight years. Lopez lives in Schoharie with his wife Bridget. On each Catskill Cabin Conversations broadcast, invited guests are asked to discuss a number of items that they would take with them on a Catskill cabin getaway.
