As the first Deep Listening Conference beings in Troy, NY, and continues through Sun., July 14, with live broadcasts on WGXC, the guest DJ spot is turned over to the conference. First, an interview with Deep Listening founder Pauline Oliveros, the legendary composer who lives in Kingston, NY. Then, live to the conference with:
7:30-9 p.m.: Round Table: Deep Listening and Pedagogy with moderator Maud Hickey, and Thomas Ciufo, Michael Duch, Joseph Hoefs, Phoenix Perry, Meg Schedel, and Mary Simoni. Followed by a concert at 9 p.m. Live from EMPAC on the RPI campus in Troy.
