After the local news at noon, an Election Day 2022 broadcast celebrating America, its triumphs, and its shortcomings, featuring American musical themes as well as pieces that are political in nature. Roughly half of the broadcast will present Ornette Coleman’s Skies of America sandwiched between other musical portraits of America, from Charles Ives and Albert Ayler to the Minutemen and Marion Williams.
