"Hive Theory" is a radio series that begins with the honey bee colony and follows its connections into the world beyond it.

Part field observation, part conversation, and part reflection, each episode explores a question, tension, or phenomenon from the hive as a way of thinking through larger questions about ecology, culture, and society.

Through interviews and field recordings, "Hive Theory" offers new perspectives on how living systems communicate, adapt, cooperate, and change.

"Hive Theory" is produced by HOSE. How Our Systems Evolve (HOSE) is a creative R&D studio examining how systems shape consumption, culture, and ecology. The Listening Apiary installation in Wave Farm's Art Park is stewarded by Deadass Beekeeping, an ecological arm of HOSE New York.
