Music from around the world is featured. Bringing the audience into the realm of other cultures through music, hopefully expanding empathy for the “other,” and recognizing that “other” in ourselves. We're back West Africa this week in Niger featuring two musicians, Alhousseini Anivolla who plays guitar and sings in the band Etran Finatawa (a band we showcased a couple months ago) and the musician who goes by the name Bombino who has established a name for himself in the West as well as Africa.
