Piano player Bob Milne has written a tremendous opera about Sleepy Hollow, New York called The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. "The result is unmistakably American in subject and musical character, yet it reaches beyond Americana," raves conductor Barnaby Palmer. "The score has a natural narrative pulse, memorable melodic writing, vivid orchestral color, a strong instinct for the voice, and - most importantly - the ability to communicate directly with an audience." Hear the incredible story behind Milne's composition, plus excerpts from the opera itself.

Host Justin Maiman from Cairo shares his latest inspirations on the "Ginger Radio Hour." Live from WGXC's Acra studio, the show features music, field recordings, performances, and interviews, primarily with people in and around the Catskill Mountains of New York.
