Thanks to a livestream from The Daily Freeman, WGXC will broadcast the first debate between Republican incumbent Chris Gibson and his Democratic challenger Julian Schreibman, candidates in the 19th Congressional District race. The debate will take place at M. Clifford Miller Middle School in Lake Katrine. Gibson is a first-term Congressman from Kinderhook (Columbia Co.), and Schreibman is an attorney in private practice from Stone Ridge (Ulster Co.).
