Tonight Jeff Economy is joined by pianist Thomas Feng, ahead of his performance of Night Prayers at PS21's Winter Festival The Dark. Thomas Feng performs compositions by musician and composer Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou alongside beloved works by Beethoven and Chopin that she kept in her room until her passing. Set amongst an immersive starscape installation by Andrew Schneider, this program conjures the rarefied stillness and spirituality of Guèbrou’s nights.
