We present music from two great female vocalists originally out of West Africa. From Mali we have the rising star of Fatoumata Diawara and from Benin the great long time established singer Angelique Kidjo. Both have new albums out which we feature in our show. Music from around the world is featured. Bringing the audience into the realm of other cultures through music, hopefully expanding empathy for the “other”, and recognizing that “other” in ourselves.
