Gwen Wright launched her campaign to unseat Rensselaer County Executive Steve McLaughlin on Saturday, March 6 with an online rally. WOOC correspondent Corinne Carey spoke with Wright about what exactly a county executive does; how her background has prepared her for the role; her priorities; and what she does when she's not on the campaign trail. Plus, in February, the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation put the Norlite Hazardous Waste Incinerator in Cohoes on notice that the company is violating its Air Permits.
