This show tunes in older transistor radio songs (Freddy Cannon's "Transistor Sister," Benny Hill's "Transistor Radio," and Connie Smith's "Tiny Blue Transistor Radio"), and more recent vintage (The Helio Sequence's "Transistor Radio" and SNFU's "Cheap Transistor Radio"). Also, there is The Beach Boys story "Magic Transistor Radio" and Kraftwerk's instrumental ode. Van Morrison ("Brown Eyed Girl") and Belle & Sebastian ("Act of an Apostle II") songs just mention transistor radios. Bob Dylan reads a transistor radio poem by Charles Bukowski. And The Flying Luttenbachers' "No Transistor," Malabua's "Anna Log," Cloud Cult's "Transistor Radio," M.
