Retired registered nurse Christine Primomo talks about her communities struggles with the LaFarge cement plant in Ravena in southern Albany County. And WOOCs Sally Becker spoke with local meteorologist Nick Johnston about the recent weather in the area. Johnston touches on local flooding, the heat, and tips for staying cool in the summer. And Deven Connelly from the Columbia-Greene Cornell Cooperative office talks with WGXC's Kieran Reilly about upcoming events, and outdoor issues. And WGXC's Amanda Lees and Jenny Ghetti preview new movies.

Julia Joern produced the "Hudson Valley Word of Mouth" interview segment each week. The "WGXC Congressional Report" also airs here. At 9 a.m. "The WGXC Daily," with local headlines, weather, and previews of community events, airs. At 10 a.m., national headlines from Public News Service are on WGXC.
