I took a bunch of free jazz drums from exemplary drummers---like Milford Graves, Andrew Cyrille, Jerome Cooper, William Hooker, Phillip Spignor, Phil Hey, Phillip Wilson, Harmut Geerken, David and Denis Licht, Leo Smith (not a drummer per se) and others---and subjected the sounds to low-budget time-stretching and pitch-shifting until they sounded messed up and hallucinatory, and layered drones and synth moves from folkways and ocora artists like Craig Kupka and the Harmonic Choir on top...all in a poor taste homage to the late great DJ Screw (RIP).
