Hosts Sara Kendall and Noah Reibel are joined by local filmmakers Derek Van Gorder and Otto Stockmeier to talk about their film, "C," currently filming in Hudson, and also visiting anti-folk singer Diane Cluck. The WGXC Afternoon Show also includes local and international headlines, music, and more. "C" follows the story of an idealistic flight officer who hijacks a spaceship during an interplanetary cold war. A tense, action-driven tale about one woman's vision for the next logical step in human development: the leap from interplanetary to interstellar colonization. Derek and Otto will join us at 4:15 to discuss the film, and their decision to use classic, in-camera special effects to create a dynamic science-fiction film. More information about the film here. Diane Cluck is a singer-songwriter affiliated with the anti-folk and intuitive folk music scenes. Cluck joins the WGXC Afternoon Show at 5:45 p.m. to talk about her new subscription project, "Song of the Week," and for an on-air performance. More about Diane Cluck here.
