Tony Fallon is off this week. "Sounds Irish" is a weekly program coming straight from County Wicklow in Ireland, hosted by Joe Bollard, one of the elder statesmen of the Irish show band scene. Joe is a blind Irishman who got his start in show band scene as keyboardist and singer with the Jack Ruane Band in the early 1960s, touring internationally. He has published an autobiography called 'Out of Sight'. Each program features a variety of Irish and Irish-related songs from many different genres, along with a healthy dose of banter from your host. Please consider adding Sounds Irish to your stations' weekly lineup of programs. All he asks is that he knows where the show is being aired so that he can give mention on the program. Any station is welcome to broadcast, but please let Joe know that you are! Just knowing keeps him going! The 2-hour program is posted weekly in 2 parts for broadcasters to insert their own breaks. Please be careful to add enough additional material as the length of the segments will vary from week to week. For more information, contact: joebollard6@gmail.com

Tony Fallon worked as a mobile deejay in the New York City area for over 25 years, and he is the owner of Tony Fallon Hardware in Cairo, New York. Fallon's songs "4in a row" and "Tommy Goodwin" are available on YouTube, and many of his poems are available on Facebook.
