Abe Hollow is the solo songwriting project of Los Angeles-based composer, recording engineer and music researcher Adam Hirsch. Vibes include reflexive chromaticism, esoteric sublimity and the Great American Songbook. Subject matter ranges from hyper-localized autofiction and water ballads to Yiddish mythology and self-delusion. Adam has studied music under Pauline Oliveros, Fred Frith and Roscoe Mitchell; his clients and collaborators have included Rose Droll, Luke Temple, Sam Amidon, gabby fluke-mogul, Sam Evian, Boy Scouts, Stephen Steinbrink, Market, Stephen Becker, Meernaa, and many more.
