Literacy Connections volunteer teams provide drop-in classes for speakers of other languages throughout Columbia and Greene Counties. Especially needed are volunteers who can assist with the Hudson classes on Wednesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. and/or Thursday mornings 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Our next Orientation Session will be held at the Hudson Area Library, Wednesday, August 15th from 3:30-5:30 p.m., with a follow-up session on Wednesday, September 19th from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Interested participants can sign up for the Tutor Training by e-mail to colgreene@literacyconnections.org or by calling 518-828-1792 ext. 104.
