The Thomas Cole National Historic Site in Catskill, is currently seeking volunteers to conduct tours during the 2014 season, from May through October. The site is recruiting guides for the Hudson River School Art Trail hiking program, as well. All are invited for behind-the-scenes tours and to ask questions about becoming a volunteer tour guide. Open house attendees are invited to attend the lecture by Alexander Nemerov ("The Chiaroscuro of Thomas Cole"), part of the site’s Sunday Salon series that follows. Free admission.
