The Hudson Pride Foundation hosts Ed Beaty, who grew up as a gay youth in the 1950’s when society and the police openly discriminated against gay people. Pride day worldwide celebrates the beginning of gay liberation, and it all started with the Stonewall riots of June 1969. Beaty was at the Stonewall the night of the police riot and witnessed the birth of dignity for gay people. He will relate some of his experiences from that time. Beaty hosts the "4th Tuesday Opera Scene" on the fourth Tuesdays of the month, from noon to 2 p.m. on WGXC.
