On Saturday, December 17 at 4 PM the Claverack Free Library will host a program for photographers, photo enthusiasts, and book lovers. Joan Liftin, a well-known photographer and book editor, will present her work and talk about her multi-faceted career in photography, editing, and teaching. Liftin, a resident of Philmont and New York City, will show images from her new book, Marseille (Damiani), as well as her 2004 book, Drive-ins, a look at the culture of American outdoor movies (Trolley Press). Both books will be available for purchase with cash, check, or credit card, an opportunity to shop locally for a unique holiday gift. Seasonal refreshments will be served.
