Dr. Michael Bank, principal investigator for the Harvard School of Public Health's study of heavy metals in people within a ten-mile radius of the Ravena Lafarge Cement Plant, presents group results of his study. Individual results will be released at a later date. Bank's research was sparked by a request from CASE (Community Advocates for Safe Emissions) co-founders Elyse Griffins and Elyse Kunz. Harvard tested blood and hair of 185 volunteer individuals on May 15 and 16, 2010 at Pieter B. Coeymans Elementary School in Ravena.
