Hudson Area Library is excited to announce that in celebration of the library’s 60th Anniversary, award-winning poet, writer, and organizer Mahogany L. Browne will be presenting her Woke Baby Book Fair, a celebration of diversity in children's literature with readings, face-painting, and fun for the whole family. Woke Baby Book Fair, is a multi-media, multi-disciplinary, intergenerational public program that includes storytelling, crafts, and other hands-on fun activities. The fair will focus on social justice-themed children’s books that highlight diversity from classic children’s picture books by authors such as Eloise Greenfield and Vera B. Williams to the latest children’s authors.
