Basilica Hudson hosts a community program featuring a film screening of "Ketermaya, Lebanon: Closer Than You Think." Immediately following the film is a second documentary short about the power of encouragement. Hudson public school children and young Muslim students will participate in the afternoon's events, including music written for the kids by Ryder Cooley + the Dust Bowl Faeries, Interfaith Orchestra, Operation Unite, Hudson Muslim Youth, and the Community Children's Chorus. All singers welcome. Food provided by Taste of India, ice cream by Mr. Dingaling, and cookies by Trixie StarLetters. All proceeds benefit the Ketermaya refugee camp for Syrian children and families.
