Local author/artist Matt Bua will be at the Cairo Public Library on November 19 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm to talk about the history of the local stone walls and how to map them. The lecture will include a site visit to inspect a stone wall within walking distance of the Library. Bua’s most recent book is Talking Walls: Casting Out the Post-Contact Stone Wall Building Myth about the origins of stone walls in the Northeastern part of the United States.
