For children aged 5 to 8. Participants will read aloud "Where the Wild Things Are" by Maurice Sendak, and examine the characteristics of the "wild things." Using large sheets of paper, paint, colored paper, fabric, and yarn, each child will construct and design their own "wild thing." A wire clothing hanger will serve as an armature and display device so the creations can be hung from the ceiling or wall. Registration at 518-622-9864.
