Poets from around the region add their voices to the issues surrounding mass incarceration, poverty, justice, and moving on. Poets include Hudsonian Ifatayo Cobbins, Derick Anderson & Friends from Albany, Students from Simon’s Rock College, and Cara Benenson, Professor of Poetry at Mt. McGregor Correctional Facility and organizer of the Pen Prison Writing Program. This is a continuation of the series dedicated to understanding what the “war on drugs” has done to our communities over the past decades and what our communities can do to demand change and move forward.
