Angelo Canna Park Ribbon cutting for new playground equipment and park picnic area, plus the unveiling of the Three Bears Picnic Area sign designed by author and artist Iza Trapani, who will attend the event. Hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and more. Rides will begin at noon. At 1 p.m., there will be a reading of the Declaration of Independence and a Little League Double Header. At 4 p.m., there will be a Charity Softball Game between the Cairo Fire Departments and the Police Department. At 6 p.m., the Bobby Val Band performs. Fireworks will occur when it's dark. Food will be served by the Little League & Pop Warner Clubs to support their organizations.
