Join us at CCE’s Agroforestry Resource Center during the New York Maple weekend to learn about the wonderful world of maple. Tour the sugar shack, tap trees, and learn all about backyard and large scale production. There will be music, family-friendly games with prizes and more during our highly anticipated annual Maple Fest. Taste test all sorts of maple syrups and products; learn about and try newly developed maple drinks and treats. We will be cranking out pancakes all day and have vendors with locally-sourced snacks. Exciting demonstrations and displays will be ongoing such as learning how to grow ginseng and a hands-on activity to create your very own shiitake log.
