Civic groups, students, scouts, youth organizations, sportsmen and women, and all are invited to join the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse Preservation Society as it hosts visits to the eight-room “Hudson Light.” The 2019 season will open the lighthouse for tours on the second Saturday of each month beginning in July, and ending in October. Helpers are needed for a variety of assignments: boat pilots (must have experience); dock hands; tour guides; on-shore guides at Hudson and Athens boat launches; boat and house maintenance workers; and administrative duties. We also welcomes those who may be interested in serving as a board member. This is a Volunteer Information Session.
