Peter LaVenia, state co-chair of the Green Party of NY, discusses the recently passed state budget with WOOC's Mark Dunlea. Issues include tax the rich, education, carbon tax, excluded workers, marijuana reform and single payer health care. And the Affordable Housing Partnership for the Capital Region is a non-profit organization that offers programs to promote successful and affordable homeownership across the Capital Region. WOOC's Aileen Javier talks with Christina Sutherland, a HUD Certified Housing Counselor for the AHP. She talks about the different programs offered by the Affordable Housing Partnership to help people get education and resources to become homeowners. All classes are virtual now.
