Thanks to a livestream from The Daily Freeman, WGXC will broadcast the only scheduled debate between Julian Schreibman and Joel Tyner, the candidates in the new 19th Congressional District’s Democratic primary. The debate, scheduled for 12:30 p.m. at the Woodland Pond retirement community in New Paltz, is not open to the public because of limited seating. Tyner is a fifth-term Dutchess County legislator who lives in Clinton, and Schreibman lives in Stone Ridge and is the former Ulster County Democratic chairman June 26 primary. They have a June 26 election to see who faces U.S. Rep. Chris Gibson (R-Kinderhook) in the Nov. 6 election. Tune in to this live broadcast, courtesy of The Daily Freeman newspaper.
