Hudson resident Melinda Braathen interviews Pavel Khodorkovsky, the son of Mikhail Khodorkovsky, one of Russia's most famous political prisoners - once the richest oil tycoon in Russia, now serving a lengthy prison sentence since 2003 for contentious allegations of tax evasion and fraud, tax evasion and fraud. While his father sits in a Siberian prison, Pavel lives in New York City. Not willing to put his father’s case, not to mention his life, in jeopardy, Pavel has not returned to Russia since 2003, but has continuously fought to keep his father, Mihkail Khodorkovsky, in the public domain.
The interview was done in conjunction with the documentary "Khodorkovsky," currently playing at Time & Space Limited in Hudson. The documentary, by German Filmmaker Cyril Tuschi, is playing this Thursday through Saturday at 7:30pm and 5:30 pm on Sunday.
